SUKKUR: Khairpur Medical College Principal, Professor Dr. Javed Phulpoto, visited various wards, including the emergency department and outpatient clinics, at the Teaching Civil Hospital.

During the visit, he spoke with patients to gather information about medicines, treatment, and other facilities, and inquired about any difficulties they were facing.

Addressing the medical staff present, Dr. Phulpoto emphasised that all personnel must carry out their responsibilities honestly and conscientiously to ensure patients receive the best possible care. “Taking care of patients is both a moral and professional duty,” he said, adding that negligence would not be tolerated.

He instructed that special attention be given to the provision of medicines, cleanliness, and timely treatment. The principal also noted that shortages of doctors and other staff in the emergency ward would be addressed soon. “To maintain the hospital’s reputation and the public’s trust, staff must treat patients with courtesy and respond promptly to their needs,” he added. Medical Superintendent Dr. Masroor Shah and Chief Administrator KMC Dr. Furukh Bhanbhro were present during the visit.
