KARACHI: The Chairman of Korangi Town, Muhammad Naim Sheikh, had visited the 10,000 Road area in Korangi along with the focal person for municipal affairs from KATI, Masood Naqi, and a delegation from KDA, where he reviewed ongoing development works.
He had inspected the ongoing development projects, including the construction of stormwater drains and road rehabilitation works. During the visit, relevant officials had briefed him on the progress of the project, its quality, and the stages of completion.
The delegation also included PS-92 President Mateen Lodhi, Vice Chairman UC-11 Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Amjadi, council members and officials from the TMC.
The visiting team had reviewed the ongoing work in the area and discussed various matters related to improving public facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Korangi Town Muhammad Naim Sheikh had said that the ongoing mega project on 10,000 Road Korangi was a valuable gift from the Sindh government for the people of Korangi as well as for business communities.
He had said that the completion of this project would not only significantly reduce traffic congestion but would also resolve the long-standing issue of rainwater drainage, bringing major relief to citizens and traders.
He had further said that Korangi was an important hub of industrial and commercial activity, making the improvement of its infrastructure essential. He added that the Sindh government and relevant institutions were taking practical steps to resolve public issues and ensuring the timely completion of development projects.
The chairman had instructed the concerned authorities to ensure that no compromise was made on the quality of construction work and that the project should be completed within the stipulated timeframe so that the public could benefit from it as soon as possible.
