KAMBER: The Advocate Alliance District Kamber Shahdadkot held a protest rally against alleged violations of merit in the recruitment process of the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), demanding transparency and justice for affected candidates.
The rally, led by Syed Akhlaque Ahmed Shah Bukhari, began from Jinnah Bagh and passed through different roads of Kamber before reaching the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Press Club, where participants staged a sit-in to record their protest.
Addressing the protesters, Syed Akhlaque Ahmed Shah Bukhari, Sanaullah Gulal, Agha Buledi, Abdul Nabi Chandio, Anwar-ul-Haq Tunio, Ayaz Buriro and other speakers said ignoring merit in an important constitutional institution like the SPSC would be a serious injustice to thousands of educated young people.
They said the rights of talented and deserving candidates would not be allowed to be compromised and demanded that all recruitment procedures be carried out in a transparent, impartial and merit-based manner.
