KARACHI: Popular Pakistani family vlogger Ducky Bhai has spoken openly about marriage and divorce, addressing what he described as a growing lack of responsibility among some men.
Ducky Bhai, known for his family-friendly content and strong bond with his wife Aroob Jatoi, said marriage is only for mature and responsible individuals.
Speaking to media outside the court, he strongly criticised men who end their marriages shortly after getting married, questioning why they enter a relationship if they are not willing to fulfill its responsibilities.
He said that if a person is not mentally mature, they should avoid marriage altogether, adding that breaking a relationship without effort causes harm to both families involved.
The vlogger noted that some individuals already know from the beginning that they cannot sustain a marriage, yet they still proceed, which leads to serious emotional and social consequences.
He stressed that marital issues should be resolved with understanding and without involving extended family unnecessarily, as it often worsens the situation.
Referring to a statement by playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, he said that a person who decides to leave a relationship has often already emotionally detached from it.
