KHAIRPUR: The Department of Medical Unit II at Khairpur Medical College organized a group teaching session on abdominal examination and chest X-ray interpretation on 18 May 2026, on the request of final-year MBBS students.
The interactive session saw active participation from students in both practical examination and discussion. During the class, students were taught the proper method of abdominal examination, including inspection, palpation, percussion and auscultation.

Faculty members explained key clinical findings and their significance in detail, while students also practiced abdominal examination under supervision to strengthen their clinical skills and confidence.
The basics of chest X-ray interpretation were also covered, with guidance on systematic reading of X-rays and identification of common findings encountered in clinical practice.
The session was described as highly engaging and informative, with students showing keen interest throughout. Organizers said it proved beneficial in improving clinical examination skills and diagnostic approach.
