RAS AL KHAIMAH: A Pakistani hiking guide has drawn widespread praise in the United Arab Emirates after rescuing a woman suffering from heatstroke by carrying her on his back across a कठिन mountainous trail for three hours.
According to reports, 43-year-old guide Faisal Shalmani was leading a group of 16 hikers on April 25 in Ras Al Ashar village when he was alerted to an emergency situation. He immediately handed over his group to a fellow guide and reached the location within 15 minutes.
By the time he arrived, the woman’s condition had already worsened due to severe heat exposure. Acting swiftly, Faisal lifted her onto his back and navigated the rugged terrain for nearly three hours to bring her to safety.
His courageous and selfless act has been widely appreciated on social media, with many praising his dedication, strength and presence of mind in a life-threatening situation.
