MEHAR: Sindh Police have recovered three eighth-grade schoolgirls within 24 hours of their reported disappearance in Mehar, Dadu district, officials said.
The recovered students — Roshni Teewino, Fatima Janwari and Tanzila Panhwar — were traced and brought back safely through an operation carried out by a special police team formed on the directives of SSP Dadu retired Captain Saddam Khaskheli.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of DSP Mehar Khalil Ahmed Buledi, B-Section SHO Nadeem Solangi and other police officials. Police used technical surveillance and location-tracking methods to trace the girls, who were recovered from Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Shaheed Benazirabad.
Police also arrested a suspect, identified as Zain Mehar, a resident of Mirpurkhas, over his alleged involvement in the case. Separate kidnapping cases had been registered at B-Section Police Station after the families reported that the girls had left for school in the morning but did not return home.
