    Police shoot dead notorious criminal, save child

    SUKKUR: Police in Naushahro Feroze have shot dead a notorious criminal and safely recovered a kidnapped child, officials confirmed. According to SSP Naushahro Feroze Mir Rohal Khan Khoso, police received intelligence about the presence of criminals in Madina Colony.

    When officers approached the location, the suspects opened fire, prompting a retaliatory response. During the encounter, criminal Abdul Latif Panhwar was killed. The kidnapped boy, Imran, son of Karim Bakhsh Sabqi, who had been abducted by dacoits from the Qamaruddin area on 10 December, was safely recovered.

    In a separate but related action, police arrested another dangerous criminal, Rahim Chandio. Authorities recovered a pistol and two hand grenades from the possession of the arrested suspect. SSP Khoso stated that the criminals involved in the encounter were wanted in approximately 19 serious cases, including murder, robbery, and dacoity.

    Deputy Inspector General of Police Shaheed Benazirabad Range Faisal Bashir Memon announced that certificates of appreciation and cash rewards would be awarded to the police team involved in the successful operation. Naushahro Feroze Police remain vigilant, committed to protecting the public, and determined to eradicate crime in the region.
