KARACHI: Muhammad Naeem Sheikh, Vice President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for Korangi District and Chairman of Korangi Town, conducted a detailed inspection of ongoing development projects in Union Council 2 alongside UC Chairman Qari Asrar.

The review focused on road carpeting, construction, and maintenance works in key areas, including KDA Employees Society and Allah Wala Town. During the visit, Naeem Sheikh examined the quality, pace, and technical standards of the projects and issued guidance to the concerned departmental officials to ensure timely and effective completion.

Speaking on the occasion, Naeem Sheikh highlighted that continuous public service has always been a hallmark of the Pakistan People’s Party. “The party’s leadership has consistently prioritized accelerating development work in Karachi, particularly in Korangi District. We have initiated projects that had been pending for years. Serving the people, addressing their issues, and providing basic amenities remain our core mission,” he said.

He added that while some in the past limited themselves to announcements and statements, PPP has focused on tangible results. “Today, the residents of Korangi can see roads, streetlights, sewage systems, and cleanliness projects being implemented across every union council. This development drive reflects the party’s genuine priorities and commitment to the public,” he stated.

Naeem Sheikh also reaffirmed the party’s commitment to being accessible to the people. “Town chairmen, UC chairmen, and our elected representatives remain present among the communities daily. We personally oversee development projects and work tirelessly to resolve citizens’ issues,” he noted.

The inspection underlined PPP’s hands-on approach to governance and its emphasis on delivering practical solutions to long-standing urban challenges, reinforcing the party’s promise of accountable and visible public service in Korangi.
