HOUSTON: The newly established committee was tasked with overseeing all party activities in Greater Houston, including meetings, events, appointments, and official communications. In a statement, Awan outlined the committee’s structure, highlighting key appointments.

Amir Arslan Malik was named Chief Organiser, with Kashif Soomro assuming the role of Deputy Chief Organizer. Several prominent party figures, including Ali Chang, Riaz Hussain Kakakhil, and Taufiq Dandiya, were designated as organizers, while Fahad Junejo was entrusted with coordinating the committee’s activities.

Party sources indicated that Awan had directed all PPP members in the Houston area to extend their full cooperation to the committee. The decision, he said, was effective immediately and aimed at ensuring a more streamlined and coordinated approach to party operations.

Observers noted that the initiative reflected the PPP leadership’s growing emphasis on structured engagement with diaspora communities, where organizational clarity and consistent communication were seen as crucial to sustaining political influence abroad.

The announcement was welcomed by several party members who described it as a timely and necessary measure to enhance efficiency and encourage active participation in party affairs. Analysts suggested that the formation of such regional committees could serve as a model for other diaspora hubs, reinforcing PPP’s efforts to maintain a coherent organizational framework while fostering stronger ties with overseas supporters.

Through this initiative, the PPP USA leadership appeared determined to project a disciplined and united front, signaling its commitment to more strategic and coordinated engagement within the international political landscape.
