QUETTA: A large number of women leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Balochistan Women Wing met former member of the National and Provincial Assembly, Rubina Irfan, and expressed their resolve to further strengthen, organize and activate the party across the province.
During the meeting, the women leaders praised Rubina Irfan’s leadership, describing her as a sincere, capable and public-oriented political figure. They said her services for the people, political insight and efforts for the development of Balochistan were commendable.
The participants reaffirmed that women workers would stand alongside Rubina Irfan and work to advance the mission of the Pakistan People’s Party. They pledged to spread the party’s message to every city, town and village of Balochistan.
The women leaders said Rubina Irfan had consistently played an active role in promoting women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, employment opportunities and social development.
They added that under her leadership, women’s participation in politics would receive further encouragement and collective efforts for the progress and prosperity of Balochistan would be strengthened.
