SUKKUR: Foreign-qualified faculty members of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, have joined hands with university leadership to develop a roadmap aimed at expanding international academic partnerships, enhancing research collaboration and creating new opportunities for students and researchers.
The strategic meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor Meritorious Professor Dr Yousuf Khushk at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, where foreign-qualified faculty members and deans of various faculties discussed measures to improve the university’s global engagement.
Welcoming participants, Dr Khushk said SALU’s internationally trained faculty was among the institution’s greatest strengths. He said the knowledge, experience and global academic networks developed by faculty members through their overseas education and research should be transformed into practical achievements for the benefit of the university and its academic community.
The vice chancellor encouraged faculty members to reconnect with their former universities, research supervisors, academic groups and international collaborators to build long-term institutional partnerships.
