MURREE: Authorities have imposed Section 144 in Murree to maintain law and order during Independence Day celebrations.
According to an official notification, the restrictions came into force today and will remain in place until 16 August 2026. The notification said only families would be allowed to visit Mall Road and GPO Chowk during the restriction period.
The measures have been introduced as authorities prepare for increased visitor numbers and public activity in Murree around Pakistan’s Independence Day.
