KARACHI: The 17th meeting of the Executive and Finance Committee of the Sindh Education Foundation was held on 15 April 2026 at its head office in Karachi, where officials reviewed the organisation’s operational and financial performance.

The meeting was chaired by Dr Kaiser Bengali, chairman of the committee and member of the board of governors of the Sindh Education Foundation.
It was attended by Dr Qazi Masood, member of the SEF board of governors, Gahanwer Ali Laghari, managing director of SEF, Shahpara Rizvi, deputy managing director, Dr Fouzia Khan, chief executive adviser at the school education and literacy department, Government of Sindh, and Muhammad Azeem, deputy secretary at the finance department.
Senior management officials, including Hassan Farhaj, chief internal auditor, Altaf Azad Ali, director finance, Nisar Banbhan, director programmes and planning, Mubashir Mirza, director human resources, Nawab Zafar, director IT, Dr Munazza Danish, director training, Junaid Ismail, deputy director (administration), and Mona Zubedi, deputy director (ACU), also attended the session.
The committee undertook a comprehensive review of SEF’s operational and financial performance, alongside key institutional matters requiring strategic guidance and approvals. Discussions focused on progress across the foundation’s programmes, monitoring mechanisms and recent field engagements, including school support visits across SEF-supported institutions.
Financial planning and resource considerations were also discussed to ensure alignment with the priorities of the Government of Sindh, while administrative and human resource matters were reviewed to strengthen internal systems and organisational efficiency.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment to transparency, accountability and informed decision-making, as the foundation continued its efforts to expand access to quality education across Sindh.
