SUKKUR: Children from SOS Home Khairpur visited Khairpur Medical College and Civil Hospital, where they took part in an interactive session on mental health, emotional wellbeing, positive thinking and personality development.
The session was conducted by Professor Dr Harish Makhija, head of the department of psychiatry, through practical activities and interactive discussions designed to help the children develop confidence and a positive outlook.
The program was organized at the request of Dr Farrukh Imtiaz Bhanbhro, director of health services for Sukkur division, and Professor Dr Iram Rani.
Speaking at the session, Professor Dr Harish Makhija said he would also visit SOS Youth Home Khairpur and continue providing guidance on mental health, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
Professor Dr Iram Rani and SOS management thanked Professor Dr Javed Ahmed Phulpoto, principal of Khairpur Medical College, Dr Makhija and Dr Bhanbhro for their cooperation and support in organizing the program.
