SUKKUR: Sukkur IBA University organised AI-based content and painting competitions under the Marka-e-Haq commemorative week, as part of efforts to promote creativity, innovation and patriotic expression among students.

The university continued its commemorative activities by hosting the two competitions aimed at encouraging students from different academic disciplines to reflect on national values through modern technology and artistic expression. Both events witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Asif Ahmed Shaikh highlighted the importance of empowering youth through creativity, innovation and intellectual engagement. He appreciated the students for their participation and encouraged them to use modern technology and artistic expression as positive tools for promoting national values and constructive thinking.

Emphasising the spirit of Marka-e-Haq, he said such initiatives helped instil patriotism, creativity and a sense of responsibility among students, encouraging them to contribute positively towards national development.

The AI-based content competition provided students with a platform to engage with artificial intelligence tools to produce digital content centred on themes of patriotism, unity, resilience and sacrifice. Vishal Kumar was declared winner, while Muhammad Noman, titled Shaheen, and Zohaib Hassan, titled Rooh-e-Pakistan, were jointly recognised as first runners-up.
In the painting competition, students expressed their interpretations of Marka-e-Haq through artworks reflecting courage, peace, national pride and the enduring spirit of the nation. Aqsa Ibraheem secured first position, while Laiba Waqar, Rubina Nasrullah and Zoha Abid were jointly named first runners-up.
University management and faculty members appreciated the participation of students and stressed the importance of integrating creativity, technology and cultural awareness in academic settings. The competitions concluded with strong engagement from participants, reinforcing themes of patriotism, unity and creativity during the commemorative week at Sukkur IBA University.
