MEHAR: Umme Rubab Chandio has submitted a written complaint to the DIG Larkana Range against the SSP Qambar Shahdadkot and local police, accusing them of bias and supporting the nominated accused in a triple murder case.

In her complaint, she alleged that police were patronising the nominated suspects in the murder case involving the killing of her father, grandfather and uncle. She claimed that the accused had attacked their tenant farmers belonging to the Solangi community, opened fire and damaged agricultural machinery.
She further alleged that instead of providing justice, police registered a false and fabricated FIR against the affected farmers on May 10, 2026, under sections 392/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code, in an attempt to pressure them.
Umme Rubab Chandio appealed to the DIG Larkana to withdraw the allegedly false FIR against their supporters and take strict departmental action against the officers involved for showing bias and unlawful conduct.
She also stated in her application that after being released from jail, the nominated accused in the murder case continued to threaten their supporters through phone calls, and that an attack was carried out against innocent people on May 8.
The complaint said that despite available evidence of the alleged attack and recorded phone threats circulating on social media, an FIR was registered against the victimised farmers, which she termed a serious injustice. She demanded immediate withdrawal of the FIR and action against the police officials involved.
