KARACHI: District West Police held a ceremony at Dreamworld Resort to honor the families of police personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty, with a special focus on their children.
The event, organized by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tariq Elahi Mastoi, was held to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the fallen officers and express solidarity with their families. A range of recreational activities, lunch and other arrangements were organized for the families, while children took part in entertainment programs during the event.
SSP Mastoi met each family individually, listened to their concerns and suggestions, distributed gifts to the children and relatives of the fallen officers, and assured them of the police department’s continued support. The ceremony was also attended by all SDPOs, SHOs and branch heads from District West Police.
Addressing the gathering, the SSP described the fallen officers as the force’s true heroes and said the welfare, dignity and care of their families remained a top priority for District West Police. He added that the department would continue to stand by the families in both times of joy and hardship.
