KUMB: A woman’s body was recovered from Ali Behr Wah near the shrine of Shahenshah Shabbir within the limits of Kumb police station and was later handed over to her relatives after the completion of a post-mortem examination.
Villagers spotted the body and informed the police, who reached the scene, took it into custody and shifted it to Taluka Hospital Kot Diji for medico-legal formalities.
After the news spread on social media, the woman’s relatives arrived at the hospital and identified her as Shama Wasan, wife of retired Higher Secondary Headmaster Ghulam Mustafa Wasan, a resident of village Muhammad Bakhsh Wasan in Kumb.
Following the completion of the post-mortem examination, the body was handed over to the family. The relatives said the deceased had been suffering from a mental illness for some time.
