Basic facilities still missing seven months after inauguration

DADU: Allegations of corruption have emerged over the rehabilitation of the Model Police Station in Dadu, with several basic facilities still absent seven months after its inauguration, causing inconvenience for both staff and the public.
Locals say the station was promised upgraded infrastructure, new furniture, official signboards, and sufficient staff to ensure efficient service. In reality, the official signboard and national flag are missing, much of the furniture is broken, and essential facilities remain incomplete or absent.
Visitors complain of long waits due to staff shortages, undermining the station’s designation as a “model” facility. Residents have expressed concerns over alleged misuse of allocated funds, urging the Hyderabad Range DIG to initiate a transparent inquiry and hold those responsible accountable.
Citizens demand immediate provision of the promised facilities to restore trust in the police institution.
