KARACHI: A meeting of Provincial Selection Board-II was held under the chairmanship of Sindh chief secretary Syed Asif Hyder Shah, during which promotions for 270 officers from various government departments were recommended.
The meeting recommended the promotion of 43 deputy superintendents of police from the police department to the rank of superintendent of police in grade 18.
In the health department, 165 medical officers were recommended for promotion to the post of senior medical officer, while 23 officers were recommended for promotion as senior dental surgeons.
The board also recommended the promotion of 11 professors from the universities and boards department to grade 19, and 19 officers from the college education department to the post of chief librarian in grade 19.
In addition, one deputy director from the information department was recommended for promotion as director in grade 19, while six officers from the social welfare department were recommended for promotion to the post of director.
