SUKKUR: The Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk, has congratulated faculty members Prof. Dr. Mujeeb Rehman Abro and Dr. Ali Raza Lashari for successfully completing an 11-week Faculty Development Program on Social Entrepreneurship and Peacebuilding, organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Dr. Khushk described their accomplishment as a matter of pride for the university, praising their dedication to academic excellence, capacity building, and their efforts to promote innovative approaches to peace and social development in higher education. Both faculty members have also been selected for an advanced UNODC training program in Thailand from January 16 to 31, fully funded by the organisation.

The Vice Chancellor expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills acquired through these international programs will benefit the university, its faculty, and students, further enhancing SaLU’s role in advancing peace, social development, and global engagement.
