SUKKUR: The US Embassy delegation, led by Acting Ambassador Natalie A. Baker and Kyle Don Andreasen, visited Sindh this week, meeting with prominent political figures to discuss governance, political developments, and bilateral cooperation.
Former provincial minister Aqib Khan Jatoi hosted the delegation at New Jatoi House in Naushahro Feroze, where he presented evidence alleging political victimisation by the Sindh government, including purported fake FIRs filed against Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi and others. Separately, the delegation met with Faryal Talpur, President of the Pakistan Peoples Party Women’s Wing, in Naudero. The meeting included US Embassy officials Peter McSharry, Chief of Political-Economic Section at Karachi Consulate, and political analyst Sanam Noor. Both sides discussed areas of mutual interest, reaffirming commitments to dialogue and cooperation on key political, social, and economic issues.
