DADU: The Jamshoro district administration has announced a public holiday on Saturday, 7th February, to mark the 774th annual Urs of the revered Sufi saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
Deputy Commissioner Ghaznfar Ali Qadri issued the official notification, stating that all government and private educational institutions will remain closed to allow students and the public to participate in the spiritual and cultural celebrations.
The Sindh government has also declared a holiday across the province on the first day of the Urs, enabling citizens province-wide to join in the festivities.
