TEHRAN: Iran’s security chief, Ali Larijani, said Tehran is standing firm against the United States and Israel, and posed a pointed question to Muslim nations: which side are you on?
According to Arab media reports, Larijani sent a strong message to Muslim countries, emphasizing that Iran is resolutely defending itself and its interests. He expressed disappointment that some Muslim-majority countries did not support Iran when it faced attacks, and noted that some even labeled Iran as an adversary simply because it targeted US bases and Israeli interests on their soil.
Larijani made it clear that Iran cannot be expected to remain passive or silent. “In today’s real battle, the United States and Israel are on one side, and Iran with the resistance forces is on the other. So, which side are you on?” he said.
The Iranian leader called for Muslim unity, stressing that Iran seeks to see a united Muslim Ummah rather than regional domination. “You know very well that the US and Israel are not your allies; in fact, they are your enemies,” he added.
