PRAGUE: A factory manufacturing weapons for Israel in the Czech Republic has been set on fire, with an anti-Israel group claiming responsibility for the attack. According to a news agency, the factory located in the city of Pardubice was targeted, with the group stating the action was taken in response to Israeli actions described as genocide in Gaza.
The Czech factory had reportedly contracted to produce drones for Israel, making it a target for activists opposing the ongoing conflict. Czech police confirmed that investigations into the incident are underway, adding that no injuries have been reported in the fire. The attack reflects growing international opposition to Israeli military operations as the wider regional war continues to escalate following the February 28 outbreak of hostilities.
