ISLAMABAD: Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghaddam has rejected reports suggesting any direct or indirect talks between the United States and Iran.
In a statement, he said no communication had taken place between the two countries so far.
The envoy noted that friendly countries, including Pakistan, are trying to lay the groundwork for dialogue between Tehran and Washington and expressed hope that such efforts would succeed.
He added that friendly nations often remain in contact with both sides to help end hostilities, but according to his information, no talks have yet been held between the US and Iran.
