DHAKA: Bangladesh tightened their grip on the Dhaka Test, ending day four on 152 for 3 in their second innings and stretching their overall lead to 179 runs against Pakistan.

Mominul made 56 before falling to Shaheen Afridi, leaving Shanto unbeaten on 58 at stumps alongside Mushfiqur Rahim, who was on 16.Earlier, Bangladesh had posted 413 in their first innings, with Shanto scoring 101, Mominul 91 and Mushfiqur 71.
Abbas took five wickets while Afridi claimed three.Pakistan replied with 386, conceding a 27-run first-innings deficit.
Azan Awais struck 103, while Abdullah Fazal, Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha all made half-centuries.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz led Bangladesh’s bowling effort with five wickets, supported by Taskin Ahmed and Taijul Islam with two each.
