KARACHI: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi has urged young people to pursue their ambitions through hard work, dedication and continuous learning, describing the Prime Minister’s Digital Youth Program as a pathway to a brighter future.
Addressing students enrolled in leadership and information technology classes at the Governor House on Sunday, Hashmi said dreams could only be realized through sustained effort and perseverance.
He said the Digital Youth Program, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, would equip young Pakistanis with the skills needed to contribute to the country’s economic development and future prosperity.
The governor also praised IT trainer Daniyal Nagori for providing technology training to thousands of young people, describing his work as an important contribution to the country’s youth and a model for others to follow.
Reflecting on his own political career, Hashmi said it had taken him three decades of continuous struggle to achieve his goal of becoming a parliamentary leader, adding that hard work never goes unrewarded.
He also commended Rizwan Jaffer for remaining committed to the Youth Parliament Forum despite criticism, saying his perseverance had ultimately led to success.
Speaking on national affairs, the governor said Pakistan’s defence had been significantly strengthened under the country’s current leadership and expressed confidence in the nation’s security.
Concluding his address, Hashmi called on young Pakistanis to commit themselves to education, technology, hard work and national unity, saying these values would help the country progress towards becoming one of the world’s leading nations.
