QUETTA: A deadly explosion rocked Quetta’s Liaquat Bazar on Tuesday, claiming the life of one individual and injuring six others. The blast occurred in the bustling commercial hub, leading to immediate chaos and a swift response from local authorities.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, transporting the injured to the Trauma Centre at Civil Hospital Quetta. Waseem Baig, the spokesperson for Civil Hospital Quetta, confirmed the casualties, adding that the condition of some victims is critical. Medical teams are working to provide urgent care to those affected by the explosion. In the aftermath of the blast, security forces cordoned off the area, initiating a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the explosion. The incident has heightened anxiety among residents and prompted an increase in security measures throughout the city.

As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the explosion, and authorities are exploring all possibilities, including whether the blast was an act of terrorism or an accidental occurrence. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available. This incident marks another troubling moment in Quetta, a city that has seen its share of violence in recent years. The authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant as they work to ensure the safety of the community.
