ISLAMABAD: In a firm and deliberate tone, Pakistan’s military reaffirmed its resolve to stand united against external threats as Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the director general of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), declared that the Pakistan Army and the nation together would form a “solid wall” against any act of aggression. His remarks came amid a tense regional climate and reflected a renewed emphasis on unity and resilience in the face of mounting security challenges.
General Chaudhry made the statement during an interaction at the ISPR headquarters, where he addressed a gathering of students and faculty from a wide spectrum of institutions, including Abdul Wali Khan University, Women’s University, the University of Engineering and Technology, and several religious seminaries. The event was part of a series of outreach sessions designed to foster dialogue between the military and young citizens on national issues at a time when Pakistan continued to grapple with the dual strains of militancy and cross-border friction.
Speaking with measured precision, General Chaudhry underscored that the Pakistan Army’s strength derived from its people, insisting that national security was a shared responsibility.
