DERA ISMAIL KHAN: City Circle Police in Dera Ismail Khan have intensified their operations with a major crackdown on a gang involved in dozens of robbery and motorcycle-snatching incidents, arresting the ringleader and recovering 10 snatched Honda CG-125 motorcycles.
The operation was launched in response to rising cases of theft across the district. According to police, the crackdown was carried out under the supervision of SP City Division Ali Hamza Butt, with teams led by SDPO City Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan conducting coordinated raids across City Circle, Proa Circle and Suburb Circle.
Officers said the ringleader, Idrees Khan, son of Sher Muhammad, from the Gandapur tribe and a resident of Basti Istrana (South), was arrested during the operation.
They include Alyan, and a resident of Noor Valley; Zafar alias Dbalai and a resident of CRBC Chowk; and Habib and a resident of Tank Road near the customs office. Efforts to arrest the absconding suspects remain underway.
