LAHORE: Lahore Police have disclosed significant findings in their investigation into alleged drug trafficker Anmol alias Pinky and her former husband Nisar, saying both were part of an organised narcotics network operating across multiple cities.
According to police officials, Nisar, along with his two brothers, initially came to Lahore where they began working through guest houses and the liquor business before later expanding into cocaine trafficking. Investigators said the group gradually involved another brother, a friend and a brother-in-law, strengthening their illegal operations.
Authorities stated that Nisar played a key role in training Anmol alias Pinky in cocaine preparation, after which the couple reportedly supplied drugs in Lahore, Karachi and other parts of the country. Police said the network was later shifted to Karachi, where it was further expanded.
Investigators added that in 2021, Pinky divorced Nisar on the instructions of a person identified as Rana Akram, a development they believe was linked to internal shifts within the criminal network.
Police said further investigations are underway to identify additional members involved in the wider drug supply chain.
