ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar stated on Thursday that India is experiencing frustration over Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence in the Middle East, as the country continues to establish itself as an effective and influential voice in regional affairs.
Speaking at a news conference in Islamabad, Tarar emphasized that Pakistan is playing a pivotal role in the ongoing Middle East crisis, highlighting the joint efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir in advancing peace initiatives. He noted that their coordinated approach is yielding results, with the international community increasingly recognizing Pakistan’s constructive contributions toward stability in the region.

The minister asserted that Pakistan’s emergence as a key diplomatic player reflects its commitment to peace and dialogue. He maintained that while Pakistan focuses on facilitating solutions and reducing tensions, India’s reported frustration stems from its inability to counter Islamabad’s growing regional stature. Tarar’s remarks underscore Pakistan’s intent to position itself as an indispensable mediator in Middle Eastern geopolitics, leveraging its traditional ties and strategic relationships to advocate for conflict resolution and humanitarian considerations.
