KARACHI: Sardar Shah announced that schools in Sindh will observe two weekly holidays, with educational institutions remaining closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
He confirmed that the new academic year in Sindh will commence from tomorrow. A spokesperson for the education ministry added that Sardar Shah extended his best wishes to students, teachers, and staff on the start of the new school year.
Meanwhile, Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that teaching in schools, colleges, and universities will resume from tomorrow. Speaking at a media briefing after the provincial cabinet meeting, he clarified that physical classes will replace online sessions. However, educational institutions will remain closed on Saturdays as part of the updated schedule.
The announcement marks a return to in-person learning across the province while maintaining a two-day weekend for students and staff. Authorities emphasised that the move is intended to improve educational outcomes and provide a balanced academic schedule.
