The launch was described as a practical step in ongoing efforts to strengthen transport connectivity between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, and to expand opportunities in trade, investment and tourism within the framework of regional connectivity initiatives. It was further noted that the new air services would help create a convenient, fast and safe air corridor between Central Asian countries and Pakistan via Uzbekistan.
