Upon receiving reports of the leak, the corporation initiated remedial measures without delay. The injured were shifted by Chhipa ambulances to Civil Hospital, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Darul Sehat Hospital and Dow Hospital for treatment.
