KARACHI: Iqbal Memorial Welfare Trust organized a ration distribution drive, providing essential supplies to over 100 deserving families and staff members as part of its ongoing welfare initiatives. Director Syeda Aneera Maheen personally handed out the rations, with Chairman Maqsood Ahmed, Vice Chairperson Fariha Fahmeen, and Media Manager Kashif Ahmed Farooqi also present.
Founded in 1997 in memory of Professor Iqbal Ahmed, the trust supports underprivileged and special children through education, training, healthcare, and extracurricular programs, alongside welfare initiatives like ration drives.
Speaking at the event, Syeda Aneera Maheen highlighted plans to organize an Eid Milan Party after Eid for special and deserving individuals, distributing gifts to spread joy. She urged companies, organizations, and philanthropists to support the trust’s initiatives, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration in uplifting vulnerable groups and promoting social welfare across the city.
