By Imtiaz Hussain KHAIRPUR: Free medicines meant for child nutrition were found being sold at a private medical store in Hingorja, prompting action by health authorities. The district health officer, Dr Kaleemullah Shaikh, carried out a raid on the store and recovered a large quantity of RUTF, or ready-to-use therapeutic food, used to treat malnutrition in children. Expired injections were also seized from the premises. The medical store was sealed following the raid. The DHO said a letter had been sent to the deputy commissioner to inform him of the matter.
